A close look at Lucignano

It was back to good weather again today and so we went to Lucignano in Tuscany. I found a list of fifty places to visit and Lucignano was the only one we hadn't been to.

Lucignano is best described as another hilltop town with stunning architecture, an amazing number of churches (none of which was open so I can't mention the art), lovely little piazze and magnificent views. Does that sound familiar?

Yes it does ... so I decided to do some spot features for this post. Not the whole church but the bell tower, not the whole house but the windows ...

All the churches and the museum might have been closed but the gelateria was open. The challenge continues!
